Harish Shankar Education
On March 31, 1979, Harish Shankar was born in Dharmapuri, Telangana. He was raised at Hyderabad’s BHEL Township. He began stage acting with Seeta Nilayam and Lalitha Kala Mandiram after completing his studies. He subsequently started writing and creating screenplays. He is intrigued by dialects, regional influences, and linguistics, and is influenced by Yandamuri Veerendranath’s writing.

Harish Shankar was born in Dharmapuri, Telagana and was brought up in BHEL Township, Hyderabad. He has an younger brother, Vishnu Prasad and an younger sister as well. He completed his education at Osmania University. Throughout his early teenage years he used to act in many stage dramas across Telangana which were conducted by the Drama Companies. In the new years, he worked more on Backstage writing, Where he learned more about the dialogues, modulation and other info.

He first held a position as an assistant director in his quest to enter the film industry. He first met Kona Venkat here. He served as the film Veede’s associate director. Ravi Teja offered to play the lead role in Harish’s first film as a director after seeing his work. His two projects were then put on hold.
Raviteja once more gave him another chance for the film Mirapakay. Both the box office and the critics loved this movie. His following film, Gabbar Singh, starred Pawan Kalyan and was a box office success. He continued to produce films after that, including Ramayya Vasthavayya, DJ, Subramanyam for Sale, and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Harish Shankar is currently working on the film Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan.
