Series Verdict

Patriotic, terror attacks backdrop films, and series are not new for Bollywood but what made Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke made it feel different is the female lead, the series has an interesting start where the viewer immediately starts travel with the series, first three episodes feel bored here and there but the right amount of drama and emotion hold the attention. Once Kavya digs deep into stopping the mission to save the nation from the Naxalites from then on the racy narration makes us invested throughout the series. Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is not just a patriotic series, it has many elements which relate to every section of the audience.

Regina Casandra as Kavya IPS Officer does a brilliant job in many scenes but in when interogation scenes she went a bit overboard with her performance, but she emotes quite well in the emotional scenes, Sumeet Vyas once again does a praise-worthy performance, Barun Sobti Mita, Vashisht Chandan Roy, Gayathri Shanker, and other cast did their best as per the story requires.

Srijit Mukherji directs the series, and despite the few flaws in the narration, he succeeded in engaging the viewer throughout the series. Srijit Mukherji’s writing is quite good, especially the lead character Kavya, how she deals with her dysfunctional family, and how she handled the mission order to save the nation all these are showcased quite well. Technically, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is good in parts, Shanu Singh Rajput’s cinematography is the biggest plus point for the series he pulls you into the series and makes you part of it with its premise and visuals.

Overall, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is a brilliantly made patriotic series in recent times, and that can be watched by every section of the audience.

Plus Points:

  • Premise
  • Narration
  • Emotion
  • Cinematography

Minus Points:

  • The slow pace at a few episodes
  • Naxalites motive

Rating: 3/5
