We have seen many Bengali movies that received tremendous responses and won awards, and now it’s time for them to enter the mainstream OTT platforms with the new series titled “Jazz City.”
Even though there are many original Bengali web series, this is the first series that will be premiered on the Sony Liv OTT platform to reach a larger audience.
It will be available for streaming on this platform on March 19, 2026. It was earlier planned for a release in February 2026.
Arifin Shuvoo and Santanu Ghatak will be seen in the lead roles, with Aniruddha Gupta, Sauraseni Maitra, Tanika Basu, and Sayandeep Sen in other prominent roles in the series.
Soumik Sen created this series, and it revolves around the situations during 1971 for the Bangladesh War for Independence, which will depict the reason and discussion regarding the war.
