Karthikeya 2 Movie Box Office Collections: Since Nikhil is such a bankable performer, his films can be made for pennies on the dollar. Taking into mind Nikhil’s Telugu market, the actual expenditure for Karthikeya 2 was only about 20 crores. For the Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam version of the film once the trailer was released there was a huge surge in interest.

An excellent pre-release business in Telugu states of roughly 18 crores helped Karthikeya 2 to break even, but it still required close to 20 crores.
