Verdict

The film’s narration and overall flow may cause you to detect some resemblances to previous instalments of the franchise. The premise of the film, on the other hand, is intriguing, and the inclusion of mystery and fantasy elements in the plot keeps us engaged all the way through the credits. There are multiple twists throughout the movie’s interval portion, and the second half maintains the suspense until the finale. The conclusion of the film was satisfactory and obvious.

Nikhil’s portrayal of Karthikeya, a character who is always looking for answers to unresolved questions, once again captivates the audience, according to the performances. A standout performance was given by Anupama Parameswaran. Although Anupam Kher is a talented actor, the dubbing voice doesn’t seem to match the actor’s voice Both Srinivasa Reddy’s hilarious timing and Aditya Menon’s outstanding performance in a terrible role will make you laugh. Every other actor did what they were supposed to do under the circumstances.

Technically, Karthikeya 2 looks great, save for a few VFX shots. Although Kaala Bhairava’s music is merely decent, the film’s ambient score is magnificent. If you’re looking for a film that will take your breath away, look no further than Karthik Gattamneni’s latest. The scenes set in Kashmir are particularly stunning. The editing was easy to follow.

Despite the failure of his previous film Savyasachi, Chandoo Mondeti seems to have rediscovered his filmmaking mojo.
In order to fully appreciate Karthikeya 2’s stunning visuals and production values, the film should only be seen in the theatre.

Rating: 3.75/5
