Tamil filmmakers are always keen on making raw and rustic films and series that have relatable characters. They are now coming up with one such other series titled “Lingam.”
This Kathir-starrer series trailer was dropped on YouTube a few days ago by JioHotstar, which has acquired the streaming rights, confirming that this series will stream on their platform on June 26, 2026.
Created by Prashanth Pandiyaraj, this series is written and directed by Lakshmi Saravanakumar. It revolves around the character named Lingam, who aspires to become a Kabaddi player but fate turns him into a local gangster.
It stars Kathir in the lead role as Lingam, with Dhivya Bharathi, Poornima Ravi, Bose Venkat, Nikhila Sankar, and a few others in other prominent roles.
