Mahesh Babu Upcoming Telugu Movies: Successes like Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Sarileru Neekevvaru have boosted Mahesh Babu’s profile, and now he’s transitioning to action films with his next project. Rajamouli himself just said at an occasion that his upcoming film, S.S.Rajamuli, will be an action-adventure, but fans have been going crazy with his new look with long hair and born.
Mahesh, who is currently riding high on his achievements, is the face of the Thumps Up and Hero Honda brands. Mahesh’s first movie role was alongside Preity Zinta in Raja Kumaradu. For his performance as Raja, he was awarded the Nandi for Best Male Debut. Along with Namrata Shirodkar and his father Krishna, he starred in the 2000 movies Yuvaraju and Vamsi. Murari, which starred Sonali Bendre, earned him the Nandi Award for Special Jury in 2001.
Takkari Donga (2002), starring Lisa Ray and Bipasha Basu, earned him the award once again. In 2003, he received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Nijam and the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actor for his work in Okkadu opposite Bhoomika Chawla. He won the Special Jury Nandi Award again for his work in Arjun.
The other film released that year was Naani. Another Nandi Best Actor Award came his way in 2005 for his performance in the critically acclaimed film Athadu. In 2006’s mafia-inspired film Pokiri, he played the role of thug Pandu and was awarded the Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Award for his performance.
