Martin Luther King digital rights were acquired by Sonyliv and the movie is all set to hit the OTT space on 29 November 2023. “Martin Luther King” is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster movie “Mandela” starring comedian Yogibabu in the lead role and directed by Madonne Ashwin of “Mahaveerudu” movie fame. Director Venkatesh Maha, who have directed movies like “C/O Kancharapalem” and “Umamaheswara Ugra Roopasya” is one of the producers for this new remake. As director Puja Kolluru worked under him, Venkatesh Maha took special care about this movie and also encouraged many new talents in the movie by giving them opportunity.
Director Venkatesh Maha started a new production house with the name “Mahayana Motion Pictures”. Under this banner he is planning to make minimum budget movies with good content that can connect with the audience just like his movie “C/O Kancharapalem.” “Martin Luther King” movie shoot has begun long time ago and completed the post-production works recently.
