Meena Education

Basil attended St. Joseph’s English Higher Secondary School in Sulthan Bathery all the way through tenth grade. He finished high school at SKMJ Higher Secondary School. Basil received his Bachelor of Technology degree from the College of Engineering at Trivandrum.

Meena Early Life

Meena was born and raised in the Indian city of Chennai (formerly known as Madras). Her father is from Andhra and her mother is from the Kannur district of Kerala. Meena attended Vidyodhaya School in Chennai and graduated from eighth grade there. Because of her meteoric rise to stardom in the film industry, she had to drop out of school before she could graduate. She had private coaching through the 10th grade and graduated with a Master’s in History in 2006 from Madras University’s online programme.

Meena has danced Bharathanatyam for years and can communicate in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. The media has given a variety of different birthdates for Meena. The date has been variously reported as 16 September 1974 and 16 September 1976.

On July 12, 2009, in the Arya Vysya Samaj Kalyana Mandapam, Meena wed Vidyasagar, a software engineer from Bangalore. Meena’s acting career began in 1982, when Sivaji Ganesan, who had seen her perform at a birthday celebration, cast her in the film Nenjangal.

Meena is one of the most popular South Asian stars, and she has been linked to nearly every major South Asian celebrity. In 1990, she made her Telugu film debut alongside Rajendra Prasad in Navayugam. Oru Pudhiya Kadhai, a Tamil film released that year, marked her debut as a heroine. Her breakthrough role was alongside Rajkiran in Kasthuri Raja’s En Rasavin Manasile (1991), a Tamil film. Fans of Meena’s were moved by her performance as Solaiyamma. Later, in 1992, the film was remade in Telugu as Moratodu Naa Mogudu, with Meena once again playing the lead.
