Meka Srikanth Education
Srikanth was born on March 23, 1968, in the city of Gangavati in the Indian state of Karnataka. His patriarch, Meka Parameswara Rao (1946-2020), was a prosperous landowner who settled in Gangavati after leaving Mekavaripalem in the Krishna region of Andhra Pradesh. He earned a B.Com from Karnataka University in Dharwad before relocating to Chennai to pursue acting.

Srikanth attended the Madhu Film and TV Institute of Acting in Hyderabad for a year back in 1990. In 1991, his debut feature, People’s Encounter, was released. Early in his career, Srikanth was typecast as a villain or a supporting actor.

More than a hundred Telugu movies have featured him, including Jantar Mantar, Hello, I Love You, and sarrainodu. For his roles in Mahatma and Shankar Dada M.B.B.S., Meka won the Nandi Special Jury Award and the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award, respectively.
In the movie One by Two, he got the starring role. He’s the main attraction in almost a hundred different Telugu movies. With 1995’s Taj Mahal, he made his mark as a leading man. Filmmakers S.V.
