It is rare that a film made in English received more collections in a regional language than the original, and this happened in the case of the “Mufasa: The Lion King” Telugu-dubbed version.
With the craze for Lion King in India, this movie was dubbed into different Indian languages and stars like Shah Rukh Khan in Hindi, Mahesh Babu in Telugu, and Arjun Das in Tamil were dubbed for the role of Mufasa in this film.
The Telugu version of this movie collected more than the original version with the craze of Mahesh Babu in the Telugu states. This film will now stream on the JioHotstar OTT platform on March 26, 2025, in different languages.
Directed by Barry Jenkins, this film was made under the prestigious banner Walt Disney Pictures.
