On August 13, 1974, Nirup Bhandari entered this world in Puttur, Karnataka, India. The Nirup Bhandaris have relocated to the Indian city of Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka. Both his father Sudhakar Bhandari and his mother Rathna Bhandari are well-known figures in the Kannada cinema industry. Anup Bhandari, his brother, is a well-known filmmaker, lyricist, and composer. His undergraduate degree was earned at the Varagurampatti campus of the Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology. Dhanya Bhandari is Nirup Bhandari’s wife, and the couple wed in 2016. Nirup Bhandari Career
While at SAP, Nirup enrolled in MiSF!T school of acting, where he studied with renowned theatre personality Ratan Thakore Grant. Before making the leap into feature films, he honed his acting chops in theatre and short films.
RangiTaranga was Anup Bhandari’s first film as a director, and it marked his debut alongside Radhika Narayan, Avantika Shetty, and Sai Kumar.
The movie Rangi Taranga ended up being a huge success. The film industry in Kannada also benefited greatly from the new opportunities in the international market. It was the first and only Kannada film to run for 50 days in the USA, and it was also the first Kannada film to be released internationally. Additionally, Rangi Taranga was one of the 305 films that were considered for nomination at the 88th Annual Academy Awards (The Oscars), but ultimately did not win any awards.
In 2018, he co-starred with Avantika Shetty in his second full-length film, Rajaratha, which was directed by Anup Bhandari. Puneeth Rajkumar lends his voice to the film’s main character, a bus. Anup Bhandari conceived of the film before RangiTaranga.
Nirup’s next film, Aadi Lakshmi Puraana, starring Radhika Pandit and directed by V. Priya, will be released in 2019. Audiences with children largely praised the film. His film Window Seat, starring Amrutha Iyengar and Sanjana Anand, will be finished by 2020.
Nirup Bhandari will soon be seen alongside Superstar Kichcha Sudeep in the high-budget action adventure film “Vikrant Rona,” on which production is now underway. Anup Bhandari will be directing the highly awaited film. Newcomer Neetha Ashok co-stars with him in the film. Nirup wasn’t considered at first, but after Sudeep convinced Anup that Nirup would be perfect for the part, he was brought on board.
