A boost is in order for Pooja Hegde to maintain her position as Tollywood’s reigning queen. Though she is the most watched heroine, box office failures plague her films. After a shaky beginning, Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s JGM has been placed on hold.
This is hardly the best track record she has had recently. Both of Pooja Hegde and Salman Khan’s upcoming projects, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” and “SSSMB28,” have received a lot of press. She is also launching the Ranveer Singh-starring film “Cirkus.” The public should warm to these films at the box office. Pooja Hegde has risen to prominence despite the tremendous negative reception she received for the critically panned flicks Radhe Shyam and Beast.
