Pragathi Education
In the city itself, Pragathi finished her tenth grade. She later relocated to Chennai and finished her 11th and 12th grades at a prestigious school in T-Nagar. Her school’s drill instructor was Mohan Babu. While in the first year of Pragathi College, advertisements for the Mysore Silk Palace in Chennai were seen. After seeing that commercial, Tamil director K. Bhagyaraj gave her the opportunity to play the female lead in Veetla Visheshanga. Over a two-year period, she appeared in seven Tamil films and one Malayalam movie. She took a short break from acting after getting married. She resumed acting in three-language TV series after a three-year break.
Pragathi Early Life
CR Saraswati saw pictures of Pragathi when she was residing in Chennai’s Rangarajapuram. She was later invited to an audition. At the age of 17, Bhagyaraj introduced her as the heroine of Veetla Visheshanga. The movie became a smash hit. Later, she played the lead role in 7 films. She was unhappy with her work after that and decided she didn’t want to work in movies.
