Prakash Rai, better known as Prakash Raj, attended St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School in Bengaluru, Karnataka. From 1983 to 1985, he attended St. Joseph’s College of Commerce in Bengaluru, Karnataka, for his PUC (Pre-University Course). He returned to the same university to begin work on his Bachelor of Commerce degree, but he dropped out between 1985 and 1987 due to a disagreement with a professor.
