He did his schooling at Baldwin Boys School, Bangalore, and went to college at Seshadripuram College. After finishing his bachelor’s degree in business management, he pursued an MBA, which he eventually dropped. He neither worked nor studied anything for around six-seven years. According to a media house, Prashanth knew he wanted to get into films by the age of 17. Later, he did a professional course in filmmaking.

Prashanth Neel Career
Prashanth wrote the script for the film Aa Hudugi Neene after he finished his film studies. He had planned to include his actor brother-in-law Srimurali in the film but ultimately decided to write the action movie Ugramm instead. One of the most financially successful Kannada films of 2014, it was released under his own production company, Infinite Pictures.
Subsequently, Prashanth told a story to producer Vijay Kiragandur, but Vijay inquired if he had any more undeveloped ideas. Prashanth told him the story of K.G.F. Chapter 1 after he asked, and suddenly everything made sense. In 2018, after its release, the film made Rs. 250 crores at the Box Office. Anil Thadani, the distributor of Baahubali, decided to give it a wide distribution in Hindi, and it was a huge success there as well.
The second wave of the COVID – 19 epidemic in India pushed back the release of his third directorial, “KGF: Chapter 2,” from its original 16 July 2021 date. On April 14, 2022, the film will debut in five languages. Prashanth has announced his next projects, including Salaar, NTR30, and Bagheera, in conjunction with the release of his highly anticipated film, KGF: Chapter 2. (writer). Prashanth claimed that his primary responsibility on set was to inspire the performers.
