In Tadepalligudem, where Prudhviraj was born, his family is well-known for their farming. At Andhra University, where he specialised in economics, Prudhviraj earned his master’s degree. On January 11, 2020, an audio recording he made with a female employee at SVBC channel went viral on YouTube, prompting staff at the channel to protest and call for his resignation as chairman. Prudhviraj stepped down from his position as chairman of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel on January 11th, 2020.
