The Catholic high school he attended in Mumbai was Our Lady of Perpetual Succor. Sampath finished his formal education and immediately enrolled in the Commerce programme at Mumbai’s R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics.

Ram Sampath Early Life

On the 25th of July, 1977 (he will be 43 in 2020) in Bombay, India, Ram Sampath entered this world (now, Mumbai). The Leo sun sign describes him best. It was in the Bombay neighbourhood of Chembur that he spent his formative years.  Sampath was born into a musical household, and he took a keen interest in Carnatic music from an early age. For eight years he studied Carnatic music in school. While at university, Ram started playing piano for a rock band. Sampath, at age 16, began frequenting recording studios in search of performance opportunities for his original songs. As early as 1994, he was given the chance to score the Femina Miss India 1994 contest.

As the offspring of Sampath Ramanujam and Asha Acharia, Ram sampath comes from a distinguished lineage. His parents had an interest in music. His younger sibling is named Mona Sampath Khan. In 2002, when Sona Mohapatra (the singer) was working as a brand manager for the consumer products company Marico Limited, Ram Sampath crossed paths with her. They met through Ram Madhvani, who is a film director. They had a wedding on January 16, 2005.

Ram Sampath Career

As his first job, Ram Sampath wrote jingles for television commercials. He’s composed music for advertisements for Airtel, Docomo, Thums Up, Pepsi, and The Times of India, among others. Let’s Talk (2002), Khakee (2004), and Luv Ka The End (2005) are just a few movies whose scores he has composed (2011).

Sampath became extremely well-known after scoring the smash single “Bhaag D.K. Bose” for the movie “Delhi Belly” (2011). He worked with Australian rock band INXS in 2008 to produce Indian renditions of their songs “God’s Top Ten,” “Devil’s Party,” and “Afterglow.” Moreover, he has appeared in a wide variety of theatrical productions. In 2009, he made his TV debut as a judge on the inaugural season of the singing reality show MTV Rock On.
