Ravi Varma Education
Varma moved to Hyderabad from his native East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh, India, when he was just two years old. Following graduation from high school, he pursued engineering at Hyderabad’s Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology before moving to New York to earn his master’s degree and begin working for Rediff. In order to further his filmmaking skills, Varma decided to attend the New York Film Academy for a three-month program. At a later time, in 2005’s Vennela, he was cast as Syed. Sathya, a remake of Kshanam, was his first film role in Tamil.

Beginning his acting career in 2005 with the film “Vennela,” he portrayed the character of Syed, a young Muslim man. The success of his debut effort opened up other doors for him. He then embarked on a career in acting and relocated to Hyderabad. Gopichand gave him a starring part in his film Nuvve (Telugu film director). Bommarillu, Sainikudu, and Rakhi are just a few of the blockbuster films where he was given prominent roles. He was now working as a supporting actor in Tollywood.

Later, Ravi starred in a slew of films, including Classmates, Rajdooth, Virodhi, Ala Ela, Mithai, Nuvvu Thopu Ra, and his most recent film, V (2020), an action-packed thriller about a police officer who has just been awarded a gallantry award for bravery in dealing with the riots, but whose best friend is murdered shortly thereafter, and the killer leaves a note challenging the cop to catch him.
In terms of money made, the movie was a huge success. Ravi has appeared in more than 50 films throughout his career.
