Rakshit Shetty will join the shoot of ‘Richard Anthony’ as soon as ‘Saptha Sagaradaache Ello’ movie finished post-production work and then completes the promotions for a theatrical release.

Richard Anthony movie is expected to have a theatrical release on December 23, 2023 tentatively. Rakshit Shetty entered into film industry with the movie titled ‘Nam Areal Ond Dina’ that released in 2010 and has been working very movies right from the beginning. Unfortunately for him, ‘Nam Areal Ond Dina’ did not bring him much success or fame. Later on, he had his big break with the romantic comedy film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, which was released in 2013, and after that, he directed and starred in the criminal drama Ulidavaru Kandanthe, which was released the following year.

Ulidavaru Kandanthe turned into a blockbuster and loved by Kannada audience for its unique making and the use of Rashomon effect to the plot was much appreciated by critics & movie lovers. As of now movie ‘Richard Anthony’ makers haven’t announced any details on the satellite rights and digital rights of the movie yet. We will update the details about the OTT platform as soon as it is announced by the makers.

Story

‘Richard Anthony’ is a sequel to ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’ which follows the story of Richi. In ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’, a journalist’s mission is to unearth the hidden truth about an event by examining it from the points of view of a variety of individuals and determining how those individuals’ lives and the event are intertwined that ultimately leading to the death of Richi. As per the information available ‘Richard Anthony’ starts exactly where ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’ has ended and what if Richi is still alive.

‘Richard Anthony’ movie stars Rakshit Shetty in the leading role, While Rishab Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Pramod Shetty might play other prominent roles in the movie, as characters played by these actors in ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’ need to continue in the sequel as well.
