Seema Pahwa Early Life
On a Saturday, 10 February 1962, Seema Pahwa entered the world. Seema came from a Hindu family, but she never knew her father because he died when she was very young. Her mother, the actress Saroj Bhargava, was a regular on All India Radio and Doordarshan. A few years ago, her older brother passed away; her sister is married; and her younger brother, Abhay Bhargava, is an actor.
Seema Pahwa Career
Since her mother was a performer, Seema spent much of her childhood going to theatre with her. Seema’s mother urged her to give acting a try at the tender age of five, and she did so for the first time before the ears of musician and author PL Deshpande. She also has experience acting in Hindi films from the time she was a young child.
As her career progressed, she joined the ranks of professional theatre companies such as Sambhav group, LTG, Shri Ram Centre, and the Repertory Company at the National School of Drama.
Aadhe Adhure, Khamosh Adalat Jari Hai, Qaid-e-Hayat, and Natsamrat are just a few of the Hindi stage productions in which she has appeared.
She made her acting debut as ‘Badki’ in the 1984 Hindi TV series Hum Log. She became very well-known after the show aired on Doordarshan. Among the many Hindi TV shows she has appeared in are Pehla Pyar (1997), Hip Hip Hurray (1999), Aandhi (2003), Hum Ladkiyan (2008), and Lakhon Mein Ek (2001).
In 2019, she made an effort to break into filmmaking by directing the Hindi film Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi. Her family, including her husband and two young children, have formed a theatre company called Kopal. It’s 2019 and she’s already acted in a Hindi web series. On YouTube, she has made a few guest appearances.
