she went to Arya Vidya Mandir School. While she showed early promise in the performing arts she has Bharatanatyam training, she ultimately decided to major in science at Mithibai College in Vile Parle after completing her formal education.

On July 20, 1972, Shefali Shah was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to parents named Sudhakar Shetty and Shobha Shetty. Her mother practices homeopathy, while her father worked for the RBI. The RBI staff has quarters in Santa Cruz and Mumbai. As a result, Shefali visited the Arya Vidya Mandir.
Shefali Shah Career
Shefali debuted in the film industry with 1995’s Rangeela. She gained recognition as an actress after appearing in the 1998 film Satya in a supporting role. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress at the 44th Annual Filmfare Awards for her performance.
She played Amitabh Bachchan’s onscreen wife in Waqt: The race against time. Kasturba Gandhi was portrayed by Shefali in the film Gandhi, My Father (2007). She took home the prize for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards and the Best Actress trophy at the Tokyo Film Festival, and she was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Screen Awards and the Producers Guild Film Awards.
Shefali has been in a number of films, including Monsoon Wedding (2001), The Last Year (2007), Black and White (2008), Karthik Calling Karthik (2010), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Brothers (2015), and more.
