Shahid Kapoor’s primary education was completed from Gyan Bharati, Delhi (upto 4th class) and Rajhans Vidyalaya, Mumbai. He then received his graduation from Mithibai College in Mumbai.
Shahid Kapoor Early Life
On February 25, 1981, Shahid was born in Delhi, India. Dodo, Shak, and Sasha are just a few of the nicknames he’s earned among his buddies. The term “Chocolate Boy of Bollywood” has been applied to him as well. Since he was a young boy, he’s been interested in performing and dancing. After his parents split when he was only three years old, life was quite difficult for him. When he was younger, he wished he could afford a Pioneer music system, but now that he’s made it big, he represents the firm as an endorser.
His parents, the actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, were members of Bollywood’s middle class Khatri community. In 1984, he and his mother filed for divorce. His stepmother is the actress Supriya Pathak. He is half-brother to Ruhaan Kapoor and half-sister to Sanah Kapoor on his father’s side. His mother remarried to actor Rajesh Khattar, making Ishaan Khattar his half-brother.
In the past, he’d been romantically involved with actress Hrishitaa Bhatt. Both Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, well-known actresses, were paramours of his. It was also speculated that he was seeing Sania Mirza, a professional tennis player. Shahid wed his longtime sweetheart, Mira Rajput, at The Oberoi, Gurgaon on July 7, 2015. Shahid Kapoor Career
He made his first on-screen appearance in the Complan advertisement as a child artist, opposite actress Ayesha Takia. When he was 15 years old, he started learning dance from Shiamak Davar’s dance institute and appeared in several Bollywood films like Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) and Taal (1999) as a background dancer. Inspiring by his impressive dance skills, Shiamak Davar made him an instructor at his dance school. At that time, he did numerous TV commercial advertisements like Pepsi, Close-Up, Kit Kat, etc.
In the TV series Mohandas B.A.L.L.B., which his father directed in 1998, Shahid served as an assistant director. There are a number of music videos in which he appears, including 1999’s Aankhon Mein and 1999’s Mera Dil Bole Piya Piya, among others.
In 2003, he made his acting debut in the Bollywood film Ishq Vishk, portraying the lead role of Rajiv Mathur. His own mother portrayed the character of his mother in the film. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut because of the movie’s commercial success. In addition to his acting career, he has hosted a number of award presentations. These include the 16th Star Screen Awards in 2010, the 17th Star Screen Awards in 2011, the 18th Colors Screen Awards in 2012, the 13th International Indian Film Academy Awards in 2012, and more.
He was a judge on the 2015 season of the popular dance competition show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded.
