Indian actor Sharwanand Myneni is best known for his roles in Telugu movies, though he has also appeared in a handful of Tamil productions. With Engeyum Eppodhum (2012), he won the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut, and with Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, he won the Nandi Special Jury Award (2015).
The next film Sharwanand made, Express Raja, was also a commercial success. The film Sathamanam Bhavati, starring Sharwanand and directed by Satish Vegesna and produced by Dil Raju, made about 50 crores at the box office. Sharwanand’s 25th film, named Radha, didn’t fare much better than the rest. With his performance in Mahanubhavudu, Sharwanand received both critical and commercial acclaim. Sharwanand’s final film, Jaanu, premiered on February 7, 2020.
He comes from a very close business family. He was a classmate of Ram Charan and Rana Daggubati. His cousin Ram Pothineni is also an actor in the Telugu film industry. Sharwanand’s brother is married to Ram Pothineni‘s sister.
