Shekhar Early Life
Shekhar Ravjiani is a well-known name in the Indian music industry, having worked as a music director, singer, TV judge, and songwriter. He is well-known in Bollywood as a music director. He entered the world on November 29, 1978, in the city of Jamnagar, Saurashtra. He was born and raised in Kutch, Gujarat. Shekhar grew up in Mumbai’s South. Hasmukh Ravjiani Sr. worked in the stock market.
He and his family—wife Chhaya and daughter Bipasha—stay in the South Mumbai neighbourhood.
Shekhar Career
Even as a little boy of eight, Shekhar Ravjiani had a passion for singing. At age 20, he auditioned for, and was ultimately chosen for, the lead role in a series of episodes of the hit Indian singing competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV. His voice was used in numerous commercials after that. When Shekhar first met Vishal Dadlani, his future partner, they both joined a band; Shekhar was assigned to play the keyboard, and Vishal took the role of lead guitarist.
At the age of 23, Shekhar and Vishal Duo debuted in Bollywood with the film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999). Two modern day musical icons, Vishal and Shekhar. While Vishal and shekhar’s singing styles are quite different, they are widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s finest musical duos.
Shekhar is a singer and an actor. In 2016, he made his first foray into Bollywood with the film Neerja, starring Sonam Kapoor. “After Neerja, I realised how much I enjoyed being in front of the camera,” shekhar said of his acting. Even though I’ve been getting offers to appear in movies, I haven’t found the right story or part yet.
