On February 3, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the eldest child of T. Rajendar and Usha Rajendar was born: Silambarasan. Kuralarasan, his younger brother, and Ilakiya, their older sibling, are his family. The schools he went to were Don Bosco Matriculation High School and St. John’s Indian Residential School. He started out appearing in his father’s films when he was quite young and didn’t get his first major role as a hero until 2002’s Kadhal Azhivathillai.
In the Tamil film business, Silambarasan has regularly served as a background vocalist. He made his singing debut in the band Sonnal Thaan Kaadhala and has since recorded over sixty songs for a wide range of songwriters. He has largely worked with his buddy and fellow composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and sings in his own films. Several of the film’s songs also have lyrics written by Silambarasan.
His flicks “Kovil,” “Vallavan,” and “Manmadhan” brought him widespread acclaim. His next film, “Silambattam,” in which he portrayed the lead part, was also well received. 2010’s “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa” was a huge hit thanks in large part to Simbu, who had a starring role. He then went on to star in films like “Vaanam” (2011), “Idhu Namma Aalu” (2016), and “Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada” (2016). Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, directed by Mani Ratnam and released in 2018, featured Simbu. A lot of people went to see the film, and it did well financially. Since then, Simbu’s cinema career has been booming.
