Movie Verdict

Hanu Raghavapudi’s first film, Andhala Raksashi, was a huge hit. I always appreciate seeing how he manages the romantic subplots. Sita Ramam, which contains some amazing love sequences and brilliant imagery, is a clear indication that the director is a huge fan of the legendary filmmaker Maniratnam. The first half of the movie is great, drawing the audience in with beautiful musical interludes and intense scenes. Unfortunately, the second half of the movie seems to drag, and there are several distracting elements that will ruin the atmosphere created in the first.

However, the excitement created by the interval block regarding the second half of the movie is not sustained because the scenes there seem a little over the top, with some dull and unnecessary components that dilute the movie’s core. This film seems to be a significant step up from the director’s earlier works, especially in terms of plot and production value, although he still has trouble with the second half of his movies.

This romance drama needs to create the right emotional environment before it can connect with its audience.

Ram is played by Dulquer Salmaan in a wonderful way. He is such a skilled actor that his characters frequently become unaware of his presence. Beautiful Mrunal Thakur performed admirably in a few of the roles in which he featured. Despite playing a little role, Rashmika Mandanna’s performance is lacklustre. Sumanth, who is talented but frequently goes unnoticed in movies, deserves more roles like this. Each performer, including Tharun Bhascker, Vennala Kishore, Bhumika Chawla, and the others, did a good job completing the tasks that were given to them.

Sita Ramam undoubtedly lives up to Vyjayanthi Movies’ well-established reputation for high-quality production. Evidently, the producers spent a sizable sum of money in order to secure a director with a high level of production value and a successful outcome. PS Vinod and Shreyas Krishna’s cinematography is excellent, and the art department should be commended for successfully recreating the atmosphere of the 1960s. Some of Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music is quite emotional. Director Hanu Raghavapudi largely succeeds this time around in bringing us a great love story with few technical problems.

Sita Ramam is, in the end, an incredibly beautiful depiction of a love story that will stay with viewers long after they have seen it.
