Sumeet Vyas Early Life
Sumeet is born on 27 July 1983 at Jodhpur, Rajasthan (India) and after completing his school, he attended the R.D. National College in Mumbai. Sumeet’s childhood dreams involved flying aeroplanes or working as a computer programmer. In contrast, acting and writing were two other pursuits that he loved. Eventually, he decided on the second possibility and began working as an assistant editor in a Mumbai editing studio.
Sumeet’s acting career had its start gradually, with an episode of “Woh Huye na Hamare” in 2003. He was paid $4000 a day to play the role of Sameer in the series. Sumeet, age 34, is a middle-class Brahmin from the city of Jodhpur in the Indian state of Rajasthan (India). His mother, Sudha Vyas, is also a well-known writer, and his father, B.M. Vyas, is a writer. His sister Shruti Vyas is married to Namit Das, who is a TV actor. When he was five years old, his family made the move from Rajasthan to Mumbai.

Sumeet wanted to pursue a career in both writing and acting. Woh Huye na Hamare, a series broadcast on Doordarshan, was his first foray into small screen acting. In 2009–10, he starred as Kartik on the NDTV Imagine serial opera Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein. In 2015, he also appeared on the EPIC network’s ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ as one of the series’s lead actors.
“Jashnn” (2009) was his debut film. Starring as a Pakistani cab driver named Salman Khan who moves to New York to improve his English, he shot to fame in 2012 with the release of the film English Vinglish. Then he signed on to star in a string of films, including the critically acclaimed Aurangzeb (2013), Guddu Ki Gun (2015), Parched (2015), and Kajarya (2015).
While playing Mikesh Chaudhary in the 2014 web series “Permanent Roommates” and as Chandan Sharma in the 2016 web series “TVF Tripling,” he became widely recognised. Bang Baaja Baaraat is a web serial that Sumeet has authored. His 2017 Indian drama film, “Ribbon,” was widely praised. His role as Rishabh Malhotra in the 2018 film Veere Di Wedding was his first major acting role.
