Taapsee Pannu attended Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar neighbourhood. Soon after earning her Computer Engineering degree from New Delhi’s Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

Taapsee was born in New Delhi on August 1, 1987. She also intends to include her sister, Shagun Pannu, in her film projects, she entered the field of software development. After being discovered during an audition for the Channel V Get Gorgeous talent contest, she decided to make modelling her full-time career.
Taapsee Pannu Career
In 2004, Tapsee entered the modelling industry by competing on Channel V’s talent show Get Gorgeous. Thereafter, she appeared in numerous ads for both television and newspapers. She competed in the ‘Miss India’ pageant in 2008 and came out on top, winning the titles of ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face’ and ‘Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin. In time, she became an ambassador for companies including Reliance Trends, Coke, Pantaloon, Tata Docomo, and Vardhman.
Taapsee made the decision to leave the modelling industry in 2010 and pursue a career in acting instead. She first appeared in the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam.
