The horror comedy genre in India has become very famous and the filmmakers are keen to make movies in this genre as the production cost will be minimum. In this list of horror comedy movies, “The Bhootnii” was one that was released recently in theaters.
This film received a very poor response from the audience and the critics for its lackluster story and uninteresting screenplay. It starred Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak, Asif Khan, Be Younik, and a few others.
The OTT streaming rights for this film are now acquired by the Zee5 OTT platform and the film will premiere on the OTT platform and Zee Cinema on July 18, 2025.
