Indian filmmakers are now more keen on remaking the hit international series into Indian languages by making a few changes. We had one such remake last year starring actress Kajol in the lead role titled “The Trial.”
This series was an official remake of the American legal drama series “The Good Wife,” which ran successfully for 7 seasons. The Trail Season 2 is now ready for the OTT premiere and the makers have made the announcement with a video.
The Jiohotstar platform, which premiered season 1, later remade this series in Tamil with the title “Good Wife,” starring Priyamani in the lead role. Season 2 will premiere on the same platform on September 19, 2025.
This intense courtroom drama will star Kajol in the lead role once again with Karanvir Sharma, Kubbra Sait, Alyy Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Sheeba Chadha, Jisshu Sengupta, and Gaurav Pandey in other prominent roles.
Banijay Asia and Umesh Bist are the producers of this series and this time they are also helming this season as directors.
