Trisha Krishnan, or Trisha as she is more well known, was born on May 4, 1983 (she will be 39 in 2022) in Chennai. The Bull is her horoscope sign.
Trisha Krishnan was born into an Iyer family from Palakkad, Tamil Nadu. Krishnan, her late father, was the General Manager of a five-star hotel in Hyderabad. Sadly, he passed away in October of 2012. Uma Krishnan is the name of her mother.
On January 23, 2015, she became engaged to Varun Manian, a businessman and film producer located in Chennai.
Trisha broke the news that she and Varun were no longer engaged in May of 2015. Trisha Krishnan began her career as a model in 1998, while still in school. There were a lot of commercials featuring her on TV and in the papers. She first won the Miss Salem pageant in 1999, and then the Miss Madras pageant the following year. The Miss Beautiful Smile award at Miss India 2001 was given to her.
Her first film role was in the 1999 Tamil film “Jodi,” where she played “Gayathri’s pal.” Praveen Gandhi helmed the movie. Then, she and Ayesha Takia starred in the music video for “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye” by Falguni Pathak.
She was originally cast as ‘Balamani’ in the film “Lesa Lesa” (2003), but the film was delayed, hence Trisha’s first leading part release was “Mounam Pesiyadhe” (2002).
