From the Tamil film industry, the Pushkar-Gayathri duo, who made the blockbuster ‘Vikram Vedha,’ started providing the content on OTT, which is getting renewed for new seasons. Now, Vadhandhi Season 2 is all set for the premieres.
The first look teaser for this new season was dropped on YouTube in March 2026, and now the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform, which acquired the streaming rights, announced that this new season will stream on their platform on August 07, 2026.
Unlike season 1, this season will have M. Sasikumar in the lead role. Yashwanth, Anagha Maruthora, Aparna Das, Vivek Prasanna, Revathy Sharma, Arjun Nandhakumar, and a few others will be seen in other prominent roles.
S. Guhapriya, S. Nandakumar, and Gowtham Selvaraj produced this series under the banner of Wallwatcher Films. Andrew Louis is the writer, creator, and director for this new season. Pushkar & Gayathri are the creative producers.
