Vidya Vasula Aham movie Review: Streaming on Aha Video OTT platform

“Vidya Vasula Aham,” a new love drama from Aha Video, stars Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar. The original plan was for this movie to come out in theaters around Sankranthi in 2023. However, after a long wait, it is now available straight on Aha Video. Let’s read the review of this love drama movie to see if it’s something we can watch this weekend.

Vasu (Rahul Vijay) is a mechanical engineer by profession and his parents are worried about his marriage. Vidya (Shivani Rajashekar) is an ambitious girl who also has some conditions in mind when selecting a life partner. Vidya meets Vasu, leading to their marriage and the mishaps they face after their marriage due to ego form the rest of the story.

There have been a lot of love drama movies about problems in marriage. There is nothing new about “Vidya Vasula Aham” in terms of the genre, and the story immediately makes us think of many other movies with a similar plot. The fight between the movie’s two main characters also seems very silly. It looks like this movie’s length was cut on purpose, because after the intermission, it doesn’t make any sense.

Rahul Vijay, who was impressive in the recent movie “Kota Bommali PS,” did okay in this film. In some scenes, Shivani Raajashekar looks fine, and in others, she looks plain. The songs by Kalyani Malik were good. The dialogue and cinematography are not good enough. It would have been better if director Manikanth Gelli paid more attention to the second half and focused on the conflict between the main characters.

Overall, Vidya Vasula Aham is an average romantic drama that offers nothing new. As we have no other movie choice for this weekend, we can give it a try.
