Vijay Sethupathi Upcoming Movies List: As an actor with a wide range, Vijay Sethupathi has played a wide variety of roles in films, including the mesmerizing Santhanam in Vikram. With much anticipation building for his next film, fans of all languages should know that Sethupathi has signed on to star in several future projects.
After working with director Karthik Subbaraj on several short films, he was cast in Subbaraj’s first movie. In the short film category at the Norway Tamil Film Festival, he won Best Actor.
Sethupathi’s first leading part was in Ramasamy’s drama film Thenmerku Paruvakaatru (2011), in which he portrayed a shepherd. This film, which initially received mixed reviews, went on to win three National Film Awards, including the category of Best Tamil Feature Film of the Year. He made his film début opposite Sasikumar in Sundarapandian, a negative role he reprised in the thriller Pizza and the comedy entertainer Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, respectively, the first features by directors Karthik Subbaraj and Balaji Tharaneetharan.
