Vikram K Kumar Early Life
Kumar earned his degree from Chennai’s Madras Christian College. He started assisting director Priyadarshan on the Malayalam movie Chandralekha in April 1997. Additionally, he assisted Priyadarshan on the films Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Hera Pheri.
Vikram K Kumar Career
In 2001, he made his Telugu film directing debut with Ishtam. He then directed Yavarum Nalam in Tamil.
He wrote the script and directed the 2014 film Manam, which was shown on November 29, 2014, as part of the section dedicated to Akkineni Nageswara Rao at the 45th International Film Festival of India. The movie won the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Film. He then produced the commercial successes 24 (2016), a science fiction film that won two prizes at the 64th National Film Awards, and Gang Leader, a comedy-thriller.
