Vishal attended Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School for his secondary education before earning a degree in visual communications from Loyola College in Chennai.
He launched an offensive against the prior committee in October 2015, leading to his election as general secretary of the Nadigar Sangam. Due to his criticism of the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), he was dismissed from the organization. He later won the polls and was chosen as the Tamil Film Producers Council’s president in April 2017.

G.K . Reddy gave birth to Vishal Krishna Reddy in a Telugu family. Janaki Devi and K. Reddy on August 29, 1975, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father was a businessman who also produced films in Tamil and Telugu. His family has made Chennai their home. Vikram Krishna, his older brother, has produced a number of Vishal’s movies and has previously worked as an actor in movies using the stage name Ajay. In 2001, Vishal worked with actor-director Arjun Sarja on his film Vedham. A producer saw Vishal on the Vedham set and hired him for an acting role in Gandhi Krishna’s Chellamae (2004). Vishal accepted the part, joined Koothu-P-Pattarai to develop his acting abilities, and took on the character of Raghunandan, whose wife is abducted by her old acquaintance. His performance was praised by a critic as “appropriate,” although “there was plenty to sharpen.” His subsequent film, Sandakozhi (2005), starred N. Linguswamy, an assistant director who had previously worked for his father’s production company.
Vishal portrayed a jungle trip guide in the 2013 movie Samar. According to Behindwoods, he “rocks in the action moments.” He appeared in Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru’s cameo before going on to star in the action movies Pattathu Yaanai and Pandiya Naadu. The latter was Vishal’s first attempt at production. Vishal decided to produce and work with Thiru on his third project, the vengeance drama Naan Sigappu Manithan (2014), in which his character suffered from narcolepsy. Since there were no movie examples he could watch and learn from, Vishal prepared for the lead part by reading about and studying real-life case studies of persons with the illness. He then performed in Poojai (2014), which did ok at the box office, for the second time under director Hari.
Linguswamy. The movie, Vishal’s 25th, is a prequel to the popular Sandakozhi (2005). The movie ended up earning an average amount of money. He worked on one film in 2019 called Action, which was directed by Sundar C. The movie struggled at the box office and garnered negative reviews. He played the lead role in M.S. Anandan’s action thriller Chakra, which was released in 2021. The movie, which came out on February 19, received conflicting reactions from critics and viewers.
