Ajith Upcoming Movies List: Thala Valimai, Ajith’s most recent film, did not do well at the box office despite being hailed as one of the best action pictures in Tamil cinema history. Many of his admirers have been waiting for him to release a new film, but so far nothing has been announced because he is taking time off to tour the world on his motorcycle.
Ajith debuted in the 1992 Telugu film Prema Pustagam at the young age of 21. His next film, Amaravathi, was an enormous success in Tamil. His second Tamil film, Pavithra, was delayed by 17 months after he suffered a racing injury that left him bedridden. Both movies were very well received by Tamil moviegoers. In 1995, Mani Rathnam produced and directed his third Tamil film, and it was this picture, Aasai, that catapulted him into the spotlight in Kollywood.
Even though Ajith’s first major film, Aasai, received a lot of attention, it wasn’t until Agathiyan’s box office smash Vaanmathi and, more specifically, Kadhal Kottai, that he became a household name in Kollywood. When Amitabh Bachchan decided to make his debut in Tamil with Ullasam, he cast Ajith in the starring role. This was the first company where he had ever earned a salary of more than Rs. 1 million.
After that, he was cast in other blockbuster movies, including Kadhal Mannan and Vaali, both of which starred Simran. Vaali marked a new peak in Ajith’s illustrious career. He played dual roles in the film. One looks like a deaf-blind twin who covets his healthy sibling’s future wife. After Amarkalam’s popularity, Ajith and his now-wife Shalini started their own distribution company called AK International. His old pal and business partner S. S. Chakravarthi (producer and distributor) ran the show at NIC Arts. The office was moved in 2006.
