Amruta was born on May 13, 1979, in Mumbai, Maharashtra (age 40 as of 2019). She comes from a Marathi Hindu household. She is the daughter of Jyoti Subhash and Late Subhash Chandra Dhembre. Her mother is a well-known Marathi actress. Jay Subhash is the name of her brother.
