Anandhi Early Life
A member of a Telugu family, Anandhi entered the world on 10 December 1996. On January 7, 2021, at Warangal, Telangana, Anandhi and Socrates were married. Former marine engineer turned assistant director known for his work in Alaudhinin Arputha Camera and Agni Siragugal and as the brother-in-law of Moodar Koodam director Naveen.
Anandhi Career
Maruthi Dasari’s coming-of-age drama Bus Stop marked Anandhi’s first film role (2012). Critical reception was favourable. Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama, her next film, premiered in March 2013 to mixed reviews, with one critic saying that the two leads, Varun Sandesh and Hasika, saved the movie with their performances. Green Signal, Vijay Maddala’s subsequent directorial effort, starred Anandhi and a relative novice, Revanth, but was met with mixed reviews.
Manimaran’s 2013 Tamil film Poriyaalan starred her and Harish Kalyan, and she joined the cast shortly thereafter. With director Vetrimaaran’s decision to become a co-producer, the film’s scope expanded significantly throughout production. In the film Kayal, directed by Prabhu Solomon, Anandhi plays the lead. The director liked her so much during her second audition that he decided to change her name from Rakshita to Anandhi for the film. Her work was well-received. This year she was nominated for various prizes, including Best Debut Actress at the Vijay Awards.
Anandhi made her debut in the 2015 Bala film Chandi Veeran, written and directed by A. Sarkunam, in which she played the love interest of Atharvaa’s character. In 2015, Anandhi co-starred with G. V. Prakash Kumar in the adult comedy film Trisha Illana Nayanthara. After the movie was out, Anandhi expressed her disappointment in working with the filmmaker and said that she had been persuaded to believe that it would be a “cute love story” rather than a “adult comedy.” Nonetheless, Anandhi assisted in publicising the film’s Telugu release. She had a little part in Visaranai in 2016, and then she was in two movies with G. V. Prakash Kumar: Enakku Innoru Per Irukku and Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru.
Her 2017 movies included Rubaai, Pandigai, and En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom. One of the best Tamil films depicting caste inequality and the suffering of the oppressed is Mari Selvaraj’s 2018 debut, Pariyerum Perumal. The film was well received upon its premiere, and the cast’s performances were singled out for praise. Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu was the next thing she worked on (2019). The role Anandhi played in the film was reminiscent of her role in Pariyerum Perumal. Live Telecast was a web series created by Venkat Prabhu and starring Kajal Aggarwal and Vaibhav Reddy, in which Anandhi also made an appearance.
