Ashok Selvan Education
In addition to acting in a dozen short films, Ashok directed a couple of them, and one of them, Green, received Best Film at the 2012 International Tamil Thoth Conference in Singapore. He attended Santhome Higher Secondary School and Loyola University before graduating. After graduating with a degree in Visual Communication, Ashok Selvan is an expert in his field. As a beginner actor, Ashok Selvan began his career in short films. A prize was given to his short film Green, which he directed, during the International Tamil Thoth Conference. He tried out for numerous roles but was never cast. The film 7aam Arivu then hired him on as an associate director. His first acting role was in the 2012 film Billa 2.
He was nominated for several Oscars for different films. He tried out for the part of Pizza but was ultimately turned down. There was a lot of acclaim for the part in Soodhu Kaavum. Ashok began looking for acting roles soon after he graduated from college, but he was repeatedly turned down. At long last, director Nalan Kumarasamy cast him in his first film, the 2013 black comedy Soodhu Kavvum, opposite Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, and Sanchita Shetty.
