Asif Ali Upcoming Movies: Asif Ali has worked in a record 13 movies in one year. This year, he has four movies coming out: “Innale Vare,” “Kuttavum Shikshayum,” “Mahaveeryar,” and “Kotthu.” The audience and critics both liked the movie Mahaveeryar, which starred Nivin Pauly, while the audience’s reactions to the movie Innale Vare were mixed.
Asif made his acting debut in the 2009 film Ritu, which was directed by Shyamaprasad and also starred two other actors. Critics gave all three of them high marks for their work. His second movie, Kadha Thudarunnu (2010), was made by Sathyan Anthikad and starred him, Mamata Mohandas, and Jayaram. It did well at the Malayalam box office. Also in 2010, the thriller Apoorvaragam was made in the Malayalam language. Even though the movie didn’t do well at the box office, Asif won the Best Villain award at the Asianet Film Awards. The Bollywood comedy All the Best: Fun Begins had a remake in Malayalam called Best of Luck that came out the same year. Unlike the original, though, the reviews for the Malayalam version were all bad. In 2011, the Malayalam thriller Traffic, in which he starred with three other main characters, did well at the box office and was praised by critics. Because of how popular the movies were, Chennaiyil Oru Naal came out in 2013 and Traffic in Hindi came out in May 2016. Another big hit for him that year was Salt N’ Pepper, a romantic comedy about two different couples. His 2011 movie Ithu Nammude Katha got good reviews, but it didn’t do well at the box office.
Asif was in 13 movies all together in 2012. Even though both critics and audiences didn’t like his last movie, Asuravithu, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Negative Role at the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards for his role as Aloshy in Sibi Malayil’s Unnam. In the years that followed, however, Asif’s movies didn’t do so well at the box office. Most of his movies got bad reviews, and only Husbands of Goa, which was directed by Saju Surendran, did well at the box office.

Asif Ali is working on a lot of projects that will come out in 2022 and 2023. He will also be in an anthology series that will debut on Netflix by the end of this year, 2022. In 2023, he will work with Aparna Balamurali, who has won national awards, for the first time in a movie called “Kishkindha Kandam.”
