Diljit Dosanjh was born in Dosanjh Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab on January 6, 1984 (he will be 38 years old in 2022). His parents were poor farmers in Punjab, India. His father was a bus driver for Punjab Roadways and made roughly Rs. 5,000 per month.  Diljit always had a passion for singing, therefore he began sharing his talent at gurudwaras at a young age.

Diljit Dosanjh is a member of the Jatt family of Sikhs. His mother, Sukhwinder Kaur, is a stay-at-home mom, and his father, Balbir Singh Dosanjh, was a bus driver for Punjab Roadways. Manjeet Singh is Diljit’s brother. Additionally, he has a single sister. When Diljit found Sandeep Kaur, he knew he had to marry her. They have a son together.

In 2002, Diljit released his first studio album, titled “Ishq Da Uda Ada,” which featured his original vocals. After that, he released an album called “Dil.” His first film, “The Lion of Punjab,” was released in February of 2011. His song “Lak 28 Kudi Da,” which was featured in the film and also featured “Yo Yo Honey Singh,” was a huge hit, despite the film’s lacklustre performance at the box office.

With “Nachdi De,” which featured Miss Pooja, Diljit released his debut song in 2009.
