Director Karthik Subbaraj from the Tamil film industry has been delivering some path-breaking films from the beginning and this year he came up with another such film titled “Dorothy.”
This time he came up with the concepts of friendship, male masculinity and LGBTQ+ in this film and it also received huge backlash in Tamil after release. It is now all set to premiere on the Netflix OTT platform.
Even after the backlash from the audience, a few celebrities supported this film and Rana Daguubati from the Telugu film industry presented and released it in Telugu.
It is now all set to premiere on OTT on October 23, 2026. It starred Keerthy Suresh, Sananth and Rishikanth in the lead roles. Muthukumar, Ramchandran Durairaju, Soundararaja, and a few others played other prominent roles.
Jyoti Deshpande, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain produced this film, which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. S. Thirunavukkarasu is the cinematographer, Ilaiyaraaja composed the music, and Ganesh Siva is the editor.
