Harris Jayaraj Wiki and Biography: Composer Harris Jayaraj hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and was born on January 8, 1975. He primarily creates soundtracks for Tamil movies, but he has also done Telugu and Hindi soundtracks for a few movies.
In addition to writing scores and soundtracks for Tamil films, he also writes music for a few Telugu movies and two Hindi movies. His first film release as a composer was Majunu in 2001. Harris Jayaraj Early Life
A devout Christian family raised Harris Jayaraj in Chennai, where he was born and raised. His mother is a Hindu Naidu, and his father comes from a Tamil Christian family. He went to Krishnaswamy Matric School to study. Harris started receiving formal tuition in Carnatic music at the age of six. His father, S. M. Jayakumar, was a well-known film guitarist who frequently collaborated with musicians such as T. M. Soundararajan, A. L. Raghavan, M.S. Viswanathan, the Soolamangalam Sisters, K. J. Yesudas, S. Janaki, Shankar Ganesh, S.P. Balasubramaniam, K. V. Mahadevan, Malaysia Vasudevan, L. R. Eswar Young Harris had to take over the family responsibilities after he got more devout as a result of two upsetting bomb blast episodes. His father insisted that he study classical guitar with Mr. A. Abdul Sattar because he wanted him to become a musician.
At age 12, he began playing guitar professionally. He also wrote the well-known Hindi song Rehna hai there dill mein. His debut song, Pyaar ki Whiskey, was actually a Bhojpuri hit song. With his Roland MC-500, he then began to program, and he later worked as a programmer for 25 different music directors, including Raj-Koti, A. R. Harris Jayaraj’s first film score, for Gautham Menon’s Minnale, was met with widespread critical acclaim, and the song “Vaseegara” in particular became an instant hit. In 2011, Harris Jayaraj announced his “Harris on the Edge” world tour, which would be his first ever. In addition, the Tamil playback singers Karthik, Haricharan, Chinmayi, Tippu, Harini, Naresh Iyer, Harish Raghavendra, Krish, Aalap Raju, KK, Benny Dayal, Andrea, Suvi Suresh, Sunitha Sarathy, Srilekha Parthasarathy, and Shweta Menon are performing Harris live all over the world on this tour.
