Indrajith Sukumaran Education
He attended Chennai’s Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School. Later, he transferred to NSS Public School Perunthanni and later to St.Residential Mary’s Central School in Poojappura. His education was finished at Sainik School, Kazhakoottam.
After attending Rajaas Engineering College, he earned a degree in Computer Science Engineering. Following graduation, he spent some time working in the software industry. Movies piqued his curiosity, so he went back to them. He struggled for a long time until he finally found success in the Malayalam film business. In the meantime, he established himself as a major star in other South Indian films.

On December 17, 1979, Indrajith Sukumaran was born in Kerala to a family with filmmaking roots. Both Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran are his parents. In 2004, Indrajith wed Poornima Indrajith. Prarthana Indrajith and Nakshatra Indrajith are his daughters. His younger sibling’s name is Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Indrajith Sukumaran Career
He made his acting debut in the 1986 film Padayani. He was a key bad guy in films like Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan and Meesa Madhavan, etc. During his early career, he starred in several successful films, including Runway, Vesham, Police, Classmates, and Baba Kalyani. Following that, he appeared in films like Minnaminnikoottam, Twenty Twenty, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Three Kings, Bachelor Party, etc.
His best-known works are Left Right Left, Husbands in Goa, Kohinoor, Amar Akbar Anthony, Vettah, Tiyaan, etc. Kurup, Ithihasa 2, Thuramukham, Ram, Halal Love Story, Kunjamminies Hospital, etc. are all films by Indrajith Sukumaran that were shot in the Malayalam language.
In 2002, with the film En Mana Vaanil, he made his first appearance in Tamil. Thereafter, he appeared in the films Sarvam and Naragasooran, both of which will premiere before the year 2020. His first film in Telugu, Kavya’s Diary, was released in 2009. His first film in Hindi was 2010’s The Waiting Room. He made his first appearance in an English-language film with 2008’s Before the Rains.
Indrajith’s first OTT project was the Queen Tamil web series. It premiered on MX Player in 2019, the year of its release. Alongside Anikha Surendran and Anjana Jayaprakash, he portrayed MGR in the film.
