Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms was responsible for producing the soap opera, which starred Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar.
It followed the lives of Parvati and Om Agarwal, a Marwadi joint family with the former being the perfect daughter-in-law and the latter the perfect son. This is the tale of Vishwanath Agarwal’s offspring, beginning with his sons. There was also a large supporting cast, including Ali Asgar as Kamal Agarwal, Anup Soni as Suyash Mehra, and Shweta Kawatra/Achint Kaur as Pallavi Agarwal.
