Story
Malikappuram is the tale of a young child who grows up in a Hindu household listening to tales of Lord Ayyappa and the Sabarimala mountain, where locals think that Lord Ayyappa manifests himself as Divya Jyothi (Sacred Light). She becomes obsessed after hearing all of these tales, so she asks her father for permission to go there.
Her father declines her request because of financial difficulties and says he will take her to Sabarimala later. However, a young lady decides to go and, without telling her parents, begins her trip to Sabarimala with a companion.
