Unni Mukundan Wiki and Biography: Unnikrishnan Mukundan Nair, better known by his stage name Unni Mukundan, is an Indian actor who primarily performs in Malayalam films. He was born on September 22, 1987. He has also appeared in a few Tamil and Telugu movies. Unni Mukundan made his acting debut in the 2011 Tamil version of Nandanam, Seedan (2002). Unni made his breakthrough with his leading role in Vysakh’s action comedy Mallu Singh after playing a number of tiny roles (2012).
Later, he played pivotal roles in a number of commercially successful Malayalam movies, such as KL 10 Patthu (2015), Style (2016), and Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya (2016). With the 2016 film Janatha Garage, he made his feature debut in Telugu. The movie Achayans marked Unni Mukundan’s debut as a lyricist and singer. By participating in the advertising for the motor vehicle department, he has also promoted efforts to improve road safety.

Unni Mukundan Education
Malayali parents Mukundan Nair and Roji Mukundan welcomed their first child, Unni Mukundan, on September 22, 1987. He received his degree in journalism and English literature from Prajyoti Niketan College in Pudukad (Thrissur). He was raised in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. He previously collaborated with Motif, now known as TTEC, in his early career.
Unni Mukundan Early Life
Unni made his screen debut in the 2011 Malayalam-to-Tamil remake of Nandanam, Seedan. Through Bombay March 12, which was directed by Babu Janardhanan and starred Mammootty, Unni made his Malayalam cinema debut. He was named best newcomer for his performance on March 12 in Bombay by SIIMA, Asianet Film Awards, Asiavision, Jaihind TV, Amrita TV, and Vanitha Film Awards. Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, which was directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar, featured him in a supporting role.
Unni’s turning point came from the Vyshakh-directed film Mallu Singh (2012). The film was a great smash and ran for more than 100 days. He made cameo appearances in the films Hitlist and Theevram. He had an appearance in Vinil’s disastrous 2014 film The Last Supper. But in the same year, he made a comeback by costarring with Dulquer Salmaan in the hugely successful film Vikramadithyan, which was directed by Lal Jose. He appeared in a supporting role in Deepu Karunakaran’s 2015 film Fireman, which featured Mammootty. He played Jordan, Alexander’s son who was the main character in the prequel, in Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander, which was released the same year. The following film, KL 10 Patthu, was produced and helmed by Muhsin Parari, a debutant.
