He relocated to Mumbai from Delhi with his family to pursue his acting profession after becoming a father of two kids. He made his acting debut in the well-known Hindi TV series “Hum Log” in 1984, costarring with his wife Seema Pahwa. His acting debut in Hindi is in the movie Tere Mere Sapne (1996).
